Parish Anniversary Potluck
Join us in celebrating the 16th Anniversary of St. Damien of Molokai Parish!
The festivities will start after the 11:00 AM High Mass.
Weather permitting, we encourage outdoor picnicking. Please bring tables and chairs if desired as seats at the church are limited and can go fast.
We need volunteers!

Activites
For the Men: First Annual Chili Cookoff
All men of the parish of any age are invited to participate in our First Annual Chili Cookoff held in conjunction with the Annual Parish Anniversary Potluck and Fifth Annual Pie Baking Contest.
To participate, you must do the following:
To participate, sign up on the sign-up sheet on the parish bulletin board.
Cook your chili independently. No submitting your wife’s work under your name
Bring your chili to the kitchen on Sunday, October 4, before or between the Sunday Masses.
Label all chilis clearly with the flavor and the contestant’s name.
No more than one pot of chili per contestant.
All chilis are welcome.
The chili contest will be judged jointly by the dads of the parish, so please participate and make this a tradition worth continuing! If you would like to participate.

For the Ladies: Fifth Annual Pie Baking Contest
All ladies of the parish of any age are invited to enter our Fifth Annual Pie Baking!
Contest held in conjunction with the Annual Parish Anniversary Potluck and First Annual Chili Cook-off.
To participate, you must do the following:
Bake your pie independently. No submitting your Husband’s work under your name
Simply bake your most beloved sweet pie and bring it to the kitchen of St Damien’s any time before or between the Sunday masses. Please ensure that all pies are clearly labeled with the flavor and contestant's name.
Pies cannot contain nuts of any kind.
No more than one pie per contestant.
The pie contest will be blind-judged by Rev. Krager and Fr.Mellino.

What else can you bring to the Potluck?
If you are not providing chili or a pie, please bring a savory side dish to accompany the chili (chips, cornbread, etc.) AND one chili topping (cheese, sour cream, etc.) for one pot of chili.
In your generosity, please do not bring any main dish this year unless it is chili.
You may drop off food in the kitchen before or between the Masses.
